Operational Policies

 
  • Acceptable forms of payment are chiefly credit cards, PayPal, Zelle, or Venmo. While we prefer the above mentioned methods, we also accept personal checks (have to be cleared) and Western Union money orders. If you are not buying an item directly through the website using credit card or PayPal at checkout, please email us first so we can begin the process of the transaction.

  • It is not lost on us that the artifacts we deal in are extremely expensive, because of that we like to offer our customers the ability to pay over time. We reserve the right to dictate the terms of any layaway agreement, and all agreements will be made on a case by case basis. Each agreement will begin with a non-refundable deposit, we insist on this non-refundable deposit because this is necessary to hold both parties to the binding agreement.

    The price of the item will also dictate how long we are willing to extend the layaway program.

  • We pride ourselves in our ability to quickly and safely get an item into the buyers hands. We reserve all rights in deciding how the package is packaged, and which carrier is used. We have used the USPS, UPS, and FedEx over the years with tremendous success and have never had an issue with a lost or damaged item.

    We are very happy to be able to ship our items anywhere in the world, when many American dealers will not. It is the buyers responsibility to know their nations laws regarding the importation of historic military antiques. We will not be held responsible for packages that are “lost” or “seized” by customs officials abroad. Once the package has been left in the care of the postal authority, and the buyer has received the tracking information we are freed of any responsibility.

    We have only added shipping insurance on one or two packages in the course of our business operation. We do not add insurance unless the package contains a high value item. We are happy to add shipping insurance to any of our items, but the buyer will be responsible for paying for this added cost.

    Our offer of free shipping applies only to those located in the United States of America. While we will ship anywhere in the world, buyers outside of the US, or those without a US address will be quoted a shipping price. Additionally Orders with multiple items will also be quoted a shipping price, our offer of free shipping only applies to 1 item.

  • Our official policy is that we do not accept returns on our merchandise. We pride ourselves in supplying the buyer with high quality photographs, as well as extremely detailed descriptions. Returns will only be accepted if the item was not accurately described. The time to ask questions about an item is before purchase, not after. We are happy to supply additional photos or information so our customers can be confident in the product they are receiving.
