Offered here is this very nice small sized German flag. This flag was captured by US soldiers during the Battle of the Haugenau Forrest in Germany in 1945. As you can see the veteran who took this flag as a bring back souvenir sewed his 79th Infantry Division patch on the center of the flag, and made sure to document where he took the flag. The flag has a very nice battle-worn look to it with a few small holes and what appears to be some singe marks as well. The flag measures 21x14.5”, making it the perfect size for display. Overall this is a very interesting piece and will display beautifully!
