Offered for sale is an extremely fine pair of WW2 German U-Boat binoculars. These early Kreigsmarine 7x50 binoculars were produced by the Carl Zeiss firm. This model of binoculars was an earlier production model, and was favored by U-Boat commanders. The optics are perfect, and the magnification functions flawlessly. The “N” stamp would indicate that these binoculars were property of the “Nordsee” Fleet. The patina and overall condition is exceptional. They have the perfect look of a heavily used pair of binoculars that were banged around and beat up from navigating the close quarters of a U-Boat.
