WWI US Doughboy Painted Helmet 83rd Division
Offered here is a very lovely WWI painted Doughboy helmet. This helmet was painted by a member of the 83rd Infantry division. This division in particular was later reorganized into several others, so finding a painted Doughboy helmet from the 83rd is really quite difficult. Painted helmets in general are not nearly a common thing, to have one from an uncommon division is really a big plus. Complete with original liner, the condition is quite nice with no damage I can see. Displays beautifully!
