WWI Austro-Hungarian Shako Plate Badge
Offered here is a very nice example of a WWI era Austrian-Hungarian Shako plate. These plates were worn on the front of the Shako helmet. This particular one is in very nice original shape, retains the overwhelming majority of its original finish, and very importantly still has both prongs intact on the reverse. Overall a very nice piece that displays well on its own, or the much needed piece to complete a restoration of an Austro-Hungarian Shako!
