WW2 Japanese Type-90 Combat Helmet
Offered here is an excellent example of a WW2 Japanese helmet. The type-90 helmet has a long service history in the Japanese military. This helmet was likely a war souvenir brought back from a GI who served in the pacific. This helmet is in fantastic condition all around. The helmet retains its original paint, and enjoys a lovey worn patina. I love to see when the top of a helmet is well worn, as the soldier likely sat on it while in the field. The liner is complete and solid, this helmet also features a modified original chin strap. As far as Type-90 helmets go, it does not get much better than this. This is a beautiful, untouched example of a WW2 Japanese helmet.
