Offered here is an exquisite example of a WW2 German NSDAP political jacket. This jacket would have been worn by a Ortsgrippenleiter political officer during the Second World War. I purchased this jacket directly from the veterans family, it has never been in a collection before. The collar tabs were reapplied by the veteran at some point, the arm band is also loose and not sewed onto the jacket arm. The jacket itself is in outstanding condition, I do not see a single moth nip or conditional issue at all. Dare I say the jacket is in mint condition. The tag on the inside pocket is complete and offers some additional information. Adding some paints and a visor would make for a lovely display!
