Offered here is an outstanding example of a WW2 German dress bayonet. These parade bayonets were worn by members of the Wehrmacht. This bayonet has stag grip plates, which was an upcharge for the soldier who ordered it, and as such they’re more uncommon in the collector market. This bayonet is also nicely engraved to the specific unit of the man who owned this. It would be a worthwhile research project to research this infantry unit. Condition is outstanding all around, some patina on the scabbard, but it’s very minimal. This bayonet is easily a 9/10 for condition, really lovely all around!
