Offered here is a very fine example of a WW1 German cased table medal. These award medals were given as prizes to those who could hit certain quotas from the government. Boosting manufacturing quotas was essential for the German war effort in the First World War. This table medal is dated 1916. I do not see a silver hallmark on the medal itself, so I do not believe it is silver. Displays great!
