WW2 German Navy Kreigsmarine Car Pennant
For sale is this very nice example of a WW2 German Kreigsmarine pennant. These were most likely placed on naval officers staff cars, and not used aboard ships like many have said. This pennant features a lovely period chain-stitched eagle, over a blue background and yellow perimeter accents. This pennant is clearly missing the two hooks that would have been on each end to secure it to the staff car. It was very common for GI’s to not so carefully remove items like these, opting to cut them free instead, and thus we are left with pieces like this. This pennant will highlight any display featuring Kreigsmarine items, and presents beautifully!
