Offered here is a very nice example of a First World War Imperial German trench fighting knife. These knives were typically issued to the famous storm-troopers and other shock units, but they also were utilized by standard infantry units. This knife is in nice honest shape for its age, the leather belt loop still present is particularly nice. The blade shows signs of patination, but free from serious damage like chips or dents. Overall a very nice example of a WWI trench knife!
