Offered here is this very lovely Iron Cross 2nd class. These medals were awarded to German soldiers who showed courage while in the German army. This medal is marked on the ring, however I cannot exactly make out what the numbers are. It looks to me that the numbers stamped into the ring are “55”, indicating manufacture by J.E. Hammer & Söhne. The condition of this medal is really quite nice, the core and frame of the medal are very nice, and the medal is also accompanied with a nice long ribbon.
