Offered here is a nice example of a WW2 German belt buckle. This belt buckle was produced by the Ernst Schneider firm in 1940 as indicated by their maker mark stamping on the inside of the buckle. This buckle would have been issued to an enlisted man within the Heer very early on in the war. Buckle shows great even wear and heavy use, it has a wonderful worn look to it.
